Privacy Policy

Applications are open. ChordIQ is the company responsible for the personal data submitted through the application form. This policy explains who can access application data, the legal bases for each use, where data is stored, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights.

Who is responsible for your data

ChordIQ is the trade name of LAIS & YAN LTDA, CNPJ 62.766.371/0001-36, headquartered at R. Deputado Marcílio Furtado, 708 — Pitimbu, Natal/RN, CEP 59.069-470, Brasil, the company responsible for the processing of the personal data collected through the PINNeAPPle Bring Your Problem application form, acting through the program administrator. Brasil is the applicable jurisdiction for the processing. Requests, questions and objections regarding the processing of your personal data can be made by email to yan@pinneapple.org.

A dedicated data-protection contact has not yet been designated; until then, the channel above handles privacy requests.

Current status

The application form is publicly available and accepting submissions, and ChordIQ is the entity responsible for the personal data it receives. The commitments below are applied by ChordIQ; this website does not automatically delete Google Forms responses.

Application information and purposes

The published application collects non-confidential information for eligibility review, competitive selection, contact and project scoping. The live form asks for contact details (full name, email address, organization or institution, role or position, country, and optional LinkedIn or project links), applicant profile and authorization, a description of the problem, data and technical readiness, scope and expected outcomes, program fit, and declarations. This website does not contain a duplicate application form or store application submissions in frontend code.

Collection, storage and international transfer

Applications are collected through Google Forms and may be organized in Google Sheets, under the program administrator’s Google account. That account address is not a public contact channel.

Google Forms and Google Sheets are provided by Google, whose servers may be located outside Brazil, including in the United States. Using these services therefore involves an international transfer of personal data, carried out under the contractual safeguards Google offers for its services, in accordance with the LGPD rules on international transfers.

Legal bases

  • Review and selection of applications, contact and scoping: procedures preliminary to a contract, at the request of the applicant (LGPD art. 7, V).
  • Keeping records: compliance with legal or regulatory obligations (art. 7, II) and the regular exercise of rights in judicial, administrative or arbitration proceedings (art. 7, VI).
  • Public promotion of a case: only with the applicant’s specific consent (art. 7, I), which can be withdrawn at any time.

Access, sharing and retention

Access to responses is restricted to the program administrator and the program’s reviewers. Responses are never shared through open or public links. Application data is not sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.

  • Non-selected applications: retained until cohort selection closes and for 12 months afterward, then deleted or anonymized. Retention does not automatically enroll applicants in another cohort.
  • Selected applications: retained during the project and for 24 months after completion, then deleted. These periods concern application records, not separate technical datasets or project agreements.

Applicant rights

Subject to the LGPD and applicable conditions, individuals may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, information about sharing, and anonymization, blocking or deletion where applicable, as well as exercise other statutory rights, including withdrawal of consent when it is the applicable basis.

Requests to ChordIQ are made through the program contact channel, yan@pinneapple.org. Identify the right you wish to exercise and the email used in your application. ChordIQ may request proportionate identity verification before disclosing or changing personal data. Do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate channel.

The general response target is 15 business days, without extending any shorter statutory deadline. Under LGPD article 19, confirmation of processing or access is provided immediately in simplified form, or through a clear and complete declaration within 15 calendar days. Eligible deletion requests are fulfilled within 30 calendar days, subject to applicable legal conditions and any shorter mandatory deadline. If deletion is lawfully restricted, ChordIQ explains the reason and applicable retention basis.

Public promotion is separate

Applying does not authorize public promotion. The form contains a separate, optional question asking whether a case may be publicized if selected. Answering “No” does not affect selection, and authorization can be withdrawn at any time by email to yan@pinneapple.org. Project-specific confidentiality and intellectual-property agreements are separate.

Do not submit sensitive technical materials

Do not submit confidential technical information, sensitive files or file uploads through the initial form. Where sensitive project information is needed later, appropriate confidentiality and handling arrangements must first be agreed separately.
